Rebels, Woodcarvers, Monks And Trumpeter
Passing old farmhouses and crossing romantic valleys we drive over the mountain Feldberg, our highest peek in the Black Forest, up to the river Rhine. First stop is at the middle age village Bad Säckingen, situated at the banks of the river Rhine. Bad Säckingen has the longest wood covered bridge of Europe. The trumpeter of Säckingen (the trumpeter is a person from a German novel) welcomes you and will give you some more information about the history of his town. Free time to enjoy the village yourself and for having lunch in one of the small restaurants.
